Peer Review Process
Review policy for PEKEMAS: Journal of Community Service
1). Every article that comes in will be accepted and checked by the Editor in Chief. Articles whose scope and format are not in accordance with the criteria of this journal will be rejected without further entry into the review management process.
2). Articles that are in accordance with journal criteria will be forwarded to the Section Editor for further processing.
3). The Section Editor will assign a minimum of two reviewers per article, with the possibility of being directly accepted / received with a few revisions / accepted with many revisions / rejected. A third reviewer will be assigned when there is a possibility between the two reviewers having different decisions.
4). The review process uses Double Blind Review, meaning that the reviewer does not know the identity of the writer, and the writer does not know the identity of the reviewer.
5). In the review process, the reviewer changes the study and gives consideration regarding the suitability of the title, abstract, method, discussion (findings) and conclusions. In addition, the reviewer also gave consideration regarding the novelty, scientific impact, current reference theory, and findings.
6). The review results from the two reviewers were accepted by the Section Editor for review and submission to the author, as consideration and input for improvement.
7). The author revised the article in accordance with the input and suggestions from the two reviewers. After completion, the author submits the revised article back to the Section Editor.
8). Section Editor accepts revised articles to check for similarity or plagiarism elements using Turnitin.
9). If the similarity results are still large enough, the article is returned to the author for revision. After completion, the author submits the revised article back to the Section Editor.
10). Editor Section checks whether or not revisions made by the author. If it is correct, the Section Editor makes the final decision on whether the article was accepted or rejected, based on the improvement of the substance and management of the article that has met the criteria of the Mosharafa Journal article.
11). Editor in Chief together with the Section Editor processes the articles received to proceed to the editing and publishing process.
12). Journal of Packaging will not guarantee or promise the acceptance of an article or a very high review process to anyone. Every article that comes in, must follow the article publishing management process, from submitting the article until the article is published.
